Youth Violence Prevention

In the 1990s, California spent significantly more on incarcerating youth than investing in proven violence prevention programs. Three campaigns – Resources for Youth, Choices for Youth, and Keeping Youth Safe – worked to promote investment in prevention instead of relying solely on suppression and incarceration.
